Each time a Rank S dies in Dawntrail Zones, it has a chance to spawn four Crystal Incarnation throughout the zone. Once four of them are killed, Arch Aethereater will spawn.If they spawn, the game will announce: "The minions of an extraordinarily powerful mark are on the hunt for prey."They will withdraw exactly 5 minutes after this message if not engaged, or if disengaged by dying.When all four are killed, Arch Aethereater will spawn.
Spells
- Aethermodynamics Applies one of the following debuffs: "Cold Sweats" which will apply "Deep Freeze" to you at the end of the effect and prevent you from moving if you don't stay moving, or "Heatstroke" which will will apply the Pyretic debuff to you at the end and inflict damage on you for each action used.

Discard a stack of 50 Fish Meal anywhere in the map.
Spells
- Noxious Sap telegraphed cone AoE on a random target that inflicts Vulnerability Up.
- Whirling Omen Applies directional buffs. Which will give the direction of his next attacks.
- Neurotoxify Large unavoidable AoE that applies "Delayed Neurotoxicity", which will prevent you from using actions when the effect's duration has expired. Place yourself in the next safe zone before the effect ends to avoid the next attack.
- Sap Spiller uses "Noxious Sap" in the direction of the "Whirling Omen" buffs and in relation to its position after the last attack.
- Cocopult is a telegraphed stack marker to a random target applying "Heavy" to hit players. Follows up with "Noxious Sap" which is difficult to avoid with "Heavy", you will need to be reactive to move quickly.
- Ravaging Roots is a telegraphed "+" AoE that spins in the indicated direction. Those who do not turn at the same time as the attack are affected by Vulnerability Up.

- Cyclonic Ring is an untelegraphed donut AoE. This attack is used if "Aetherstock" has collected green winds.

- Thunderspark is an untelegraphed circle AoE. This attack is used if "Aetherstock" has collected purple lightning.

- Scorching Left is a large untelegraphed semi-circle AoE on its left side. Followed directly by an AoE from the opposite side.
- Pyre of Rebirth applies the "Boiling" debuff, which will give you the "Pyretic" debuff when the effect ends. Each action performed under the Pyretic effect will cause you damage.
- Twinscorched Halo executes a "Twinscorch" followed directly by an "Halo of Heat".
- Twinscorched Veil executes a "Twinscorch" followed directly by an "Veil of Heat".
